In today's release for TagControl we have extended support for the GPC (Global Privacy Control) signal from UCP (Universal Consent Platform).
We have added a functionality in the TagControl application to respect the GPC signal from UCP application and block tags which belong to data-sharing categories/vendors for that UCP notice. Also incase of GDPR/CCPA Tag Policy Enforcement, data-sharing tags are removed from the Essential list and will be blocked unless consent is given. The "Data-sharing" signal takes precedence over Essential flag for a notice/site with GPC feature enabled.
