The new FirstSpirit version is available for download at http://www.e-spirit.de/download/firstspirit/2022.4. You need a personal login to access the download folder. Please contact our Technical Support if you do not have a personal login.

With the current FS version, the included libraries have been updated to a more recent version of Spring. For more information on Spring4Shell, see the following post Zero-Day Exploit in Spring Framework.

All products and services have been checked and we have addressed all risks identified. Details can be found in this article. We will continue monitoring our systems and following up on any new developments in the CVEs.

We are aware of the recently disclosed security vulnerabilities in Spring, commonly referred to as Spring4Shell (see see CVE-2022-22963 and CVE-2022-22965) and are actively monitoring and managing the issue. We have a team working on identifying potential risks in our software components and services. This article will be updated regularly to provide information about how the vulnerability affects FirstSpirit and its ecosystem as well as details on how we handle the issue and what you can do to secure your systems.

we have published a new CaaS release today. The versions contained are CaaS platform 14.3.2, CaaS Connect 3.19.14 and CaaS module 2.20.4.

Please note that we also retroactively published the additional platform version 9.4.1!
On-prem customers still running versions <= 9.4.0 are strongly recommended to first update to 9.4.1 before moving on to platform 9.5.0+.
By using this secure update path, data inconsistencies can be avoided that are caused by a bug in MongoDB.
