What are the various steps for a successful TMF integration

Dear Team,

We are building a multi-site which is multi-lingual also and we have microsites plus different brands as well. My questions are as follows:

  1. Do we need the _TMF folder in every Country's directory or is there a rule that only one _TMF folder per site root
  2. What would be your advise for us for a successful TMF integration considering that we are building sites for US and CA and each has at least two languages. Also both these directories will have a Brands and Corporate sub-directories. Also note that our pages are publishing to Search G2.

We are following the below links:

Thanks,

Somnath

@MarcusEdwards  - just noticed this question unanswered.  Could you help here?  @Som we have a whole section on this now in training that we can help with.

  1. It really depends on how you want to manage and distribute the content to each localized folder. Here are two use cases:
    1. Multiple _TMF folders in each sub-directory
      1. If you need to use different templates(layout or totally different content) for every country’s directory
      2. If you need to add different master(default) content in each site
    2. One _TMF folder per site root - This is the common option that our other clients use
      1. If you use the same templates for every folder
      2. Same master(default) content for across all the folders
  2. Folder Structure Examples:
    1. Multiple _TMF folders
      • /Site Name
        • /US
          • /_TMF
