Release Notes - Version 24.27.0
We are excited to announce the release of version 24.27.0 for the Universal Consent Platform (UCP). This update brings several enhancements and bug fixes to improve the overall functionality of the platform.
Enhancements:
- UCP (Universal Consent Platform) now supports custom tab indexing values for various elements, including Accept, Decline, options dialog buttons, and the close icon in Consent banners and barriers.
- Tab index values 1 and 2 are preassigned for Banner/Barrier and all the links (anchor tags), respectively.
- All buttons and the close icon should have tabindex=3 if not assigned any value from the privacy web.
How to Add Custom Tabindex Values for HTML Elements:
- Log in to the UCP/privacy application (Privacy.evidon.com).
- Select "Templates & Assets" and then choose "Styles."
- Within the Style settings, navigate to Banner/Barrier to add TabIndex values for Close Icon, Accept, Decline, and Options dialog buttons.
- TabIndex values start from 3, as 1 & 2 are preassigned to Banner/Barrier and all the links (anchor tags) in the message, respectively.
- Once the custom values are added, click Save and submit the changes.
Bug Fixes:
- Resolved an issue in Evidon scripts to accurately interpret GPC signals with Boolean values to support all new GPC extensions.
- Addressed a bug causing scrolling issues during the submission of DSAR (Data Subject Access Request) forms.
