isn't "Create custom categories" also a feature of the Search Adapter, or what does this feature mean?

Is there also a proper way to use a autocomplete-function with the enterprise-search or is this not included or possible?

Hello Mario, an autocomplete-function is included with Enterprise Search v2 (requires Exalead Cloudview).
