Update 2018-11-21: We have received reports about failing web-application deployments after an update to FirstSpirit 2018-11. The reason is a changed behaviour in detecting and handling conflicting web-resources. To address this issue, if you are affected by it, please see our suggestion from the release notes of FirstSpirit 5.2R6 (released in December 2016) or chapter 64.36 "Improved detection of identical or compatible module resources" of the combined release notes attached to this post. FirstSpirit 2018-11 is the latest release of FirstSpirit and contains bugfixes as well as new functionality.

The new FirstSpirit version is available for download at http://www.e-spirit.de/download/firstspirit/2018-11. You need a personal login to access the download folder. Please contact our Technical Support if you do not have a personal login.
Important: As mentioned earlier and explained in this blog post (German only) as well as the release notes, this version does not support Berkeley DB versions 3 and 5 anymore. If you have not upgraded your Berkeley DB to version 7 yet, installing this update will prevent the FirstSpirit server from starting. Please see the release notes attached to this post and/or the blog post mentioned above for further information. If you have any questions about the Berkeley DB upgrade, feel free to contact our Technical Support team.
