We're excited to introduce the latest update, version 25.7.0, which includes support for ads_data_redaction as well as bug fixes and backend updates.
New Features
- Support for
ads_data_redaction
Property with Google Consent API:
- Overview: The UCP now includes support for the
ads_data_redaction
property in alignment with the Google Consent API.
- Functionality:
- When
ads_data_redaction
is set to true
and ad_storage
is denied, ad click identifiers in network requests from Google Ads and Floodlight tags will be redacted.
- Network requests will be routed through a cookieless domain to enhance privacy.
- If
ad_storage
is granted, the ads_data_redaction
parameter will not have any impact.
Bug fixes
WCAG Compliance:
- Issue: Fixed a bug related to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) compliance in the UCP.
- Details: Aria-labels on buttons within the banner were not reflecting the same text as their inner HTML content.
- Resolution: Aria-labels now correctly mirror the inner HTML text, ensuring better accessibility and compliance with WCAG standards.
