Hi Crownpeak,
Can you please confirm if there is a way to automate the latency testing tool via TagControl? Is that something the tool can do or is it strictly scanning for the whitelist?
Thanks!
@PonderThis, Thanks for the question. TagControl strictly enforces a whitelist and allows only what is part of the whitelist to ever fire on the site. Granular Consent Control ties in with a UCP notice served to your site visitors and allows for you to make "essential" technologies fire regardless of consent and the remaining "non-essential" resources that are part of your whitelist can fire once consent is given. Regardless of whether you are in "Tag control only" or "policy enforcement" modes no resources outside of your whitelist will be allowed to fire.
If you are simply wanting to allow your latency testing tool to fire regardless of consent its resources would just need to be added to the whitelist and marked as "essential" by highlighting the star icon next to the resource.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
James Sakurai
