The Jira integration in DQM allows you to create Jira tickets directly within the platform. Created Jira tickets are linked to a DQM issue. You can access the created tickets directly in DQM.

Create a Jira ticket using the Jira integration in DQM
You can easily create a Jira ticket related to a specific checkpoint from within DQM.
- Navigate to the Analyzer.
- Select an issue.
- Click Create Jira ticket.

NOTE
The button Create Jira ticket is only available if there has not yet been a ticket created for this checkpoint.
- Select a suitable project and issue type.

→ The summary and description of the ticket are automatically populated with checkpoint details and the site URL.
- Review the auto-populated information and add any other relevant details.
NOTE
Consider the following when filling out the form:
- The fields available to you are dependent on the combination of project and issue type you selected.
- Required fields are indicated by a red asterisk (*).
- It is currently not possible to assign tickets from within DQM. Tickets should be assigned to individuals in Jira after the ticket has been created using the integration.
- Click Create Jira ticket.
→ If your ticket has been created successfully, you will see a confirmation.
- To view the created ticket in Jira, click on the ticket ID.

All tickets created using the Jira integration are visible alongside the corresponding checkpoint on the Analyzer.
- Navigate to the Analyzer.
- Click on the button showing the Jira ticket ID.

Redirect to Jira→ You are redirected to Jira where you can view the ticket in full detail.
Close a completed ticket in DQM before the next scan
The DQM Jira integration is one-directional. Information only flows from DQM to Jira. Therefore, once you have completed a ticket in Jira, you can separately close this ticket in DQM before the next scan. Tickets for resolved checkpoints will not be visible after the next scan.
- Navigate to the Analyzer.
- Click on the button showing the Jira ticket ID.

- Click Close ticket.
