Universal Consent tool link implementation tips

The way that our script handles showing the link (instead of the button) is we look for any element with a specific class name (evidon-notice-link) and when the notice loads we populate those elements with the translated AdChoices text.   A link element is required during the implementation process, it can be an anchor, button, div, etc, a class name is required. For most companies, placing our script within the footer so it would be part of their site template would be ideal. consentlink.PNG



If the class element (evidon-notice-link) is not implemented on the site, our script will not have the ability to display the opt-out tool in the form of a link. As a result, the following message will display within the users browser console:
