Within the UCP you may want to know where your vendors are and what notices they are on. Additionally, you may want to recategorize based on your company’s needs. To see and recategorize vendors, navigate to the Vendors tab in the main menu of UCP.
In this section you can search or view by vendor, domain, or category:
To manage vendors, navigate to Categories in the Vendors submenu. From here you can rename existing categories or create new “buckets” of categories.
To rename a category, click on the category name and make changes in the text fields. You can change category names for each translation below in the Translations section
To delete the category or save your changes, use the controls in the top right.
Creating Category Buckets
To create a new bucket of categories you must first delete the categories you want to be included in the bucket. Once they are deleted go back to the “Categories” tab and click Add Tag Category.
Fill out the fields for name and description and add the categories you want to be bucketed in the “Vendor Categories” field using the dropdown. There is a checkbox you can use to mark the category as essential.
Autopop is a feature that auto-populates the vendors disclosed in your notices. Autopop will scan your domains on a monthly basis. On completion of these scans, your notices will be updated with a list of seen Vendors from the scans. Autopop can be turned on by your Customer Success Manager.
