[RELEASE] FirstSpirit™ 2021-07 released

FirstSpirit 2021-07 is the latest release of FirstSpirit and contains bugfixes as well as new functionality.

The new FirstSpirit version is available for download at http://www.e-spirit.de/download/firstspirit/2021-07. You need a personal login to access the download folder. Please contact our Technical Support if you do not have a personal login.

Announcement: Incompatibility of FirstSpirit with Java < 11

With the next release (FirstSpirit 2021-08), the byte code level will be changed from Java 8 to Java 11 as the last step.

This means that all Java versions older than Java 11 (LTS) will be incompatible with FirstSpirit.

Nach dem Release 2021-07 ist ein Fehler aufgefallen.

Wenn Remote-Projekte mit eingetragenem Benutzer verwendet werden, kommt es bei der Anzeige der Medien-Verwaltung im ContentCreator zu einem Fehlverhalten.

Das Problem wurde bereits behoben und der Fix wird mit dem nächsten Release 2021-08 ausgeliefert.

Sollten Sie Projekte haben, die eine solche Remote-Konfiguration verwenden, wenden Sie sich bitte an den Technical Support

After the 2021-07 release, an error has been identified.

When using remote projects with a registered user, a misbehavior occurs when displaying the media management in ContentCreator.

The problem has already been solved and the fix will be delivered with the next release 2021-08.

Hallo,

da ich es aus den Releasenotes nicht ganz rauslesen konnte, würde ich an dieser Stelle gern mal nachfragen: Ist mit Version 2021-07 die Unterstützung für Oracle Database 12c nun weggefallen? Oder würde diese Version noch mal mit einer 12c DB laufen?

Hallo Frau Westendorf,

die FS Version 2021-07 wird zwar noch mit einer 12c DB laufen, da der Datenbank-Layer Oracle Database 11g/12c noch enthalten und erfolgreich bei Kunden im Einsatz ist, aber offiziell in der Wartung und damit von uns empfohlen ist nur noch Oracle Database 19c.
