Managing Users - Adding New Users

DQM administrators are able to create new users in Crownpeak DQM

If your account has administrator access you may follow the process below to add a new user

  1. Login into the platform
  2. Hover over ADMIN in the top navigation menu, then hover over Users and click on Manage UsersDQM User Management NavigationDQM User Management Navigation


  3. Once on the page click on Add a New UserDQM New user button
  4. Enter the users Email address, First name and Last nameDQM user fields

  5. If the option User creates own password is on, the email address you have specified will receive an email allowing them to set a password. If it is off you can specify the default password and an email is not sent to the email address
  6. You can then choose to set up the user as a Standard user or Admin user

Setting up a Standard User

  1. When setting up a standard user you would need to choose which rights they have access to:
    1. See the Analytics dashboard - Allows a standard user access to the pages under the Groups navigation
    2. Manage queries - Allows standard users to approve or reject a query removing an issue flagged by DQM
    3. View restricted checkpoints - Allows a standard user to use the radio button at the footer to toggle between seeing restricted and public checkpoints
    4. Add words to dictionary - Allows a standard user to add words to the dictionaryDQM standard user permissions
  2. In the next section Website Dashboard Access, you can specify which dashboard a user has access to. If you have specified website groups you an filter by group from the dropdown menu available. The standard user can only access the pages under Website of  the dashboards they have access toDQM dashboard access

  3. Weekly Status updates is also available for dashboards a standard user has access to. If this setting is updated the stanard user will receive one weekly update email  every Monday for every dashboard this feature is enabledDQM manage weekly email


Setting up an Admin User

Admin users has access to all user permissions and dashboards. The Admin user also has access to the Admin pages in DQM. Weekly Status emails can be enabled for dashboards the administrator would need access to. The administrator will then receive one email for every dashboard where this is enabledDQM administrator user options
