DQM Javascript scanning Beta Program

We are pleased to announce that Crownpeak Digital Quality Management (DQM) team has opened the JavaScript scanner for interested users who would like to take part in our JavaScript Beta Program.

The JavaScript Beta Program is open to existing Crownpeak clients who are administrators of JavaScript websites which they would like DQM to scan.

Is there any cost involved in joining the program?

There is no cost to join the program and the JavaScript dashboard that will be set up will not count towards your existing agreements in DQM. In return we will need your assistance in providing us regular feedback on the scan results seen in DQM.

What sort of feedback are you looking for?

Firstly, it would be useful to know if the scanner is picking up all the pages in your website. DQM provides a downloadable inventory of all pages under the Inventory -> Web Pages section.

Apart from this any information or issues you see when viewing issues in DQM will be useful.

Will I see the same results in DQM as the current HTML scanner?

The JavaScript scanner works very similarly to the HTML scanner, as of the moment we are focused on scanning and bringing in results related to webpages. We are working to add checks for images, pdfs  and other non-page assets in the near future.

We are also looking to add Browser view and page checker for JavaScript sites in the future once the scans reach the next stage of development.

Will it work on all JavaScript websites?

Currently the JavaScript scanner is intended for public facing websites with multiple pages built using JavaScript. If your website does not fall into this category, please do still reach out to us in order for us to see if we can support your requirements.

What do I need to do in order to join the Beta Program?

You will need to create a support case through the Community Portal and request to be part of the “DQM Beta Program” we would need to know the URL of the website to scan.

If you do not have access to create a case please request for Support Case Access
