Why is this important?

There are certain reasons why an image is used as a link. We need to remember that some users may not be able to visually see an image and instead may be relying on screen readers to identify the link. This is why an alternative text should be added that describes the destination page of the link. This way these users will be provided the appropriate information to know that the image is a link and where the link will lead to.

How can I resolve this issue?

Add an alt attribute to the image inside the link
